Yoga and me in Romantic Italy

Come join me in Italy to experience beautiful yoga, in the serene and haunting Umbrian Hills, and let me share my experiences and love of the Italian countryside and it's peoples. You'll be Italian forever!
The sprawling villa sits on a bluff and stretches its calm energy out into the vast unspoiled Italian countryside. The villa is engulfed by its beautiful green woodlands and rolling hills, referred to as the “Green Heart of Italy”. It truly looks like a post card perfect world.
It is spectacular - inside and out. The huge yoga room is separate from the living quarters. It is a 20-foot peaked structure with hardwood floors specifically built for yoga. It is equipped with a built-in air/heating system and yoga props. The front and side walls are glass, exposing the magical nature of the Green Heart itself. This is guaranteed to be a very special room for practicing yoga.

We’ll start each morning with a silent meditation and yoga class. And every other afternoon you can relax in a Supported Yoga Therapy class. Part of traveling is slowing down and looking around, sensing and feeling. There will be plenty of time to reflect on your experiences, and just "be".
The dining room with glass walls extends out independently onto the significant lawn, which wraps around the entire property. Whether it’s breakfast, lunch or dinner, we’ll be eating well and enjoying the view!
Our food is prepared by Jimmy. He’s been cooking for the villa for 13 years!
And I have also scheduled the opportunity for you to follow me on some journeys. Here are just a few of what I’ve planned during our week together.
Assisi – Home of the Patron Saint, Francis of Asissi.
It is the feel of this most sacred walled city in all of Italy, that continues to draw me to re-visit. And it is the home of the Patron Saint of the entire country. The Basilica of San Francesco in Assisi is an architectural triumph, and it is there that the crypt of San Francis’ tomb rests. It is undeniably one of the most calm and peaceful environments that I have ever felt. The experience is profound.
Cooking Lesson - Join us in the Locanda's kitchen for what's sure to be a memorable culinary experience! We'll receive a personalized cooking lesson on how to make homemade pasta the Italian way; hands-on and slowly. Using recipes and techniques passed down over generations, our delightful cuoco (cook) will show us how to use what she found fresh that day at the market. Afterward, we'll all sit down together for lunch and enjoy what we have created together.
Euro Chocolate - One of the world’s most prestigious international events.
This great event is dedicated to the lovers of the “Food of the Gods”, which every year turns the chief Umbrian town (Perugia) into a lively open air pastry-shop, featuring the biggest names in Italian and international chocolate making.
The occasion is without a doubt a good one to discover the most remote corners of this antique medieval center and to enjoy the famous Umbrian hospitality. We’ll enjoy not only the delights of chocolate but also the artistic beauties of the city and of Umbria in general.
